Service Description

An IPL photofacial, or Intense Pulsed Light photofacial, is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses light energy to improve skin appearance. It can treat a variety of skin concerns, including: •Age spots, freckles, and sun spots •Rosacea, hemangiomas, and broken capillaries •Acne bacteria and the excess pigmentation and redness caused by acne •Stretch marks and hypertrophic scars •Facial veins and leg veins To prepare for IPL treatment, you can: •Avoid sun exposure: Avoid tanning and direct sunlight for at least four weeks before your treatment. Sun exposure can damage your skin and make it more sensitive to light. •Shave the treatment area: Shaving allows the IPL treatment to target the hair follicle more effectively. •Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and after your treatment. •Avoid certain medications: Check with your doctor to see if you should stop taking any medications that can make your skin more sensitive to light. •Avoid heavy skincare products: Avoid retinoids and harsh exfoliants for at least a week before your treatment. •Avoid heat and excessive sweating: Avoid heavy exercise and saunas. •Moisturize: Use a moisturizer with SPF to protect your skin from the sun. •Don't wear makeup or other skincare products: On the day of your treatment, don't wear makeup or other skincare products. Aftercare tips •Avoid hot water on the treated area until it heals •Avoid makeup or lotion on the treated areas for at least 24 hours •Use a cold towel on the hurt area for about 15 minutes •Use sunblock or aloe vera to help the body heal •Avoid harsh topical products such as retinols and glycolic acid products for one week after each session
